[WORLD in PICTURES] Bilderberg 2012

What is Bilderberg? What is the Bilderberg Protest, Occupy Bilderberg etc. etc. thing all about?

The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is a yearly, off-the-record, invitation-only conference of approximately 120 to 140 guests from North America and Western Europe. About one-third of its attendees are from allied governments with a further two-thirds from finance, industry, labor, education and communications. Meetings are locked to the public with details kept from the media. This obviously encourages many conspiracy theorists to condemn the meetings and the intensive need for secrecy that makes up the conference.

The conference runs from the 31st of May to the 3rd of June and, this year, held at Westfield’s Marriott hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, USA (Google Maps)

With many arrested primarily for taking photos of vehicles, the risk of protesting and the hotel’s security remains high. America’s well-known conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, was present at the protest and is visible in a few of the photographs.

LOL You guys can get busted for uploading images, let alone comissioning someone to take the pics

  • avelworldcreator

I’m afraid not. These images are legal and so is the uploading. Only pornographic or similar images will get them “busted”. The fact that people were being arrested for taking license plate photos is disturbing. Was it really for that? Or was it for trespass on private property to take the pictures. That’s a critical point. If they were taking pictures from a publicly accessible area, then the arrests were illegal.
