PiracyYou wouldn’t steal a car.

The Motion Picture Association Of America (MPAA) force you to sit through this pathetically stupid advertisement that intends to invoke guilt (but fails to) every time you just want to see the title menu.

In a spit of ironically hilarious proportions, a claim by Netherlands-based composer Melchior Rietveldt alleges that the original contract was breached and that the usage rights has infringed the original deal.

Apparently, the track was composed for a local film festival. The track was under a limited contract when Melchior realized that the music was unexpectedly being used for more than he had agreed on.

With an estimate of €1 million owed, you wouldn’t steal a car but I bet the MPAA would – they may as well.
