Octomon Resorts to Pornography - This Photo is of the shootIt’s unfortunate yet inescapable that large parts of the media focus on exploiting those that are considered different to the ‘normal’ 9 till 5 person – and so reality shows are imminently broadcast all around the world therefore it’s only a matter of time until these people are exposed , destroyed and humiliated in the public eye for ‘entertainment’

Struggling to survive can be a horrible task, and when you’ve gained international acclaim for being “that weirdo on that show” then financially, it can take its toll (especially with the producers that manage to rip these ‘characters’ off)

Nadya Suleman may be a name you’ve heard before, if not then how about the nickname “Octomom” – yes – Nadya gave birth to octuplets, which rapidly put her in the spotlight for many things – one of the leading humiliations was here personality, which although admittedly she does seem a little strange, Quirky at best. Financially, someone who is in the media constantly should at least be receiving some sort of help, no? Well not in Nadya’s case, in court she claimed to have been in over $1 million of debt which the media speculated on, claiming she had spent thousands of dollars on manicures – something she and social workers disputed. Consequently this 36-year-old mother of 14 has entered the porn industry. This raises many doubts, especially with taxpayers accusing her of abusing the welfare system – but also, this raises an existential uncertainty for the future of her children. Those in the porn industry have a habit of eventual breakdown. I’m not saying it’s inevitable, but it indeed does lead many “stars” down the path of substance abuse, mental illness and sexual dysfunction – something that shouldn’t occur around her eight young children, let alone 14 of them.

I would rather avoid looking at the celebrity aspect of Nadya’s ventures (confirming my facts via TMZ and Gawker was rather traumatizing to say at the least) but I don’t buy into this “entering a sex trade for my children” act – It’s almost like she wants to keep her life in the headlines and that is something that is truly frightening for the future of her youngsters.
