The court system in Australia has yet another case of celebrity fever, allowing Bert Newton’s son Matthew get away with assault (for the time being) yet again.
This really does shed a bad light on those (including myself) who have ever been cast upon the shadow of depression and the titles given by today’s modern doctors & psychologists.
After a recent assault claim by a taxi driver, Matthew Newton’s lawyer Mr. Murphy requested the case be adjourned for at least four months due to Newton’s bipolar disorder and OCD. Old excuses with never-ending re-uses.
Newton already got let off for beating his girlfriend because the judge claimed he was a “gentleman” during the case, are we forgetting that he is a professional ACTOR?
No mental health issue in this world can give someone the excuse to hit a woman.
The judge had even dismissed the charges his ex had against him, without even imposing a good behavior bond because of the “significant” evidence that was produced by his psychiatrist, so clearly he is going to spend the ‘stall-time’ gained from the adjournment to gather as much evidence as possible to justify his actions.
Sorry mate, hope treatment goes well and all – but sadly you’ll find that doctors are yet to provide a cure for being an aggressive wanker.
