144 passengers and six crew are presumed dead after an Airbus A320 crashed in a remote region of the French Alps en route from Spain to Germany. Flight 4U 9525 disappeared from radar in the Alpes de Hautes Provence after apparently sending a distress signal at 10.47am local time (9.47am GMT). Jewish and Islamic Schools Given Millions of Dollars of Security in Australia Amidst Terrorist Fear

isis-army-700x430.png

ISIS Speculation in Australia has now lead to several million dollars given to private security companies as part of a new package to protect Jewish and Islamic schools. The program will include $18 million in funding for 54 schools that have requested assistance to hire security guards and buy security products to safeguard students. The majority are in Western Sydney, with 29 of the 54 in NSW. The announcement comes after the Australian Federal Police called on teachers in November to be on the lookout for students who “may be vulnerable to being radicalised. “

New Australian IVAN MILAT Series Irritates Thousands Convinced We Should “Forget All About Him”

article-2633599-1E0E394600000578-397_634x545.jpg

We shouldn’t even be giving them the publicity but yet again the irritatingly overly-sensitive have struck again with over 16000 signatures on the (mostly filled with pathetic petitions as if petitions work these days) website Change.org to prevent Australian TV from broadcasting a new documentary about notorious murderer Ivan Milat. The petition (with its description mirrored below) claims that Australia doesn’t need reminding of the murders. There are plenty of books and documentaries about Ivan, but apparently this one tips the politically sensitive over the edge. The Milat murders were one of the most horrendous crimes ever to occur in…

The Flaws of Western Feminism, Oppression and That Old Equal Pay Debate

i-thought-i-was-oppressed

The modern feminist is convinced that there’s never been an effort to give the women of Western society the same rights as the men – but here’s a challenge: What significant right do men have these days that women don’t?   At the 2015 Oscars, actress Patricia Arquette howled that we should do more to ensure equal pay in the United States for females. Entertainment sites have applauded this as the greatest moment of the Oscars and most powerful statement. Never mind the powerful cry out by Imitation Game scriber Graham Moore who urged those demonised by homosexuality and being…

Australia Resorts to Guilt and Threats Against Indonesia, Attempting to Spare Bali Nine Members From Execution.

For several weeks now the Australian government and media have constantly barraged headlines with opposition to the execution of two members of the Bali Nine, a group of convicted drug smugglers. Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan. The two were a part of nine people convicted of planning to smuggle 8.3 kg of heroin valued at about $4 million from Indonesia to Australia. Citing support for human rights (of which Australia really has nothing to be proud of), the Prime Minister and multiple politicians have now attempted to remind the Indonesian government of the aid that Australians provided during the aftermath…

Australian Mandatory Government Data Retention Con Will Cost $400m for Your “Freedom” and “Safety”

tony-abbott-skype.jpg

The cost of keeping data for telecommunication companies and their customers for a minimum of 24 months will be as much as $400 million but Prime Minister Tony Abbott has stated that the price of not storing electronic communication records is "incalculable". The government is refusing to, however, reveal the costs that the taxpayers and telco customers will face. "Metadata and its retention is more important than ever if we are going to be able to track what criminals are doing, whether it be criminals who want to commit terrorist offences, whether it be criminals who are committing corporate offences,…

Everything Is Offensive. Everything Is Sexist, Racist and Derogatory.

If WordMean has campaigned against anything; it’s this mentality that everything in our world and involved with our people is either racist, homophobic, sexist or something else that discriminates against a group or individual. If folks like Jeremy Clarkson are anything to go by, then it’s mostly those who have absolutely no say in what is or isn’t offensive (Clarkson supposedly offended a lot of black people, sayeth hundreds of white people) People are far too sensitive. I’ve always believed we live in a softened society, but absolutely EVERYTHING is extremely offensive to at least one group. You can’t say…

Delta and Southwest Planes Landed After Twitter Prankster Claims to Have Smuggled Bombs.

B8K7D9HCAAAMMKY.jpg

A pair of F-16 fighter jets has escorted two US commercial airliners to their landing in Atlanta following an online bomb threat. Twitter user @kingZortic sent out tweets to Delta and Southwest airlines suggesting he had smuggled explosives onto flights and threatened to detonate them. Two flights were then grounded at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta before the FBI and specialist officers raided the planes. The bomb threat turned out to be counterfeit with the Twitter user confirming it was not actually true. The users’ Twitter account was later suspended.
